Location
Map of location
You can find the Manufaktuuri 7 buildings in the Sitsi subdistrict in Põhja-Tallinn. Where this was once home to one of the largest industrial quarters in Tallinn, and access to the area has been restricted for 15 years, in the future, the Manufaktuuri quarter will settle in.
Sport
Paljasaare hiking trails, walking paths in Pelguranna, a swim in the warm summer sea or an ice cold dip in the winter. A network of non-motorised roads makes getting around convenient for both pedestrians and cyclists. The Sõle sports centre is the best in the area.
Nature
Do you dream of combining urban living with the idyllic beachfront home or forest cabin? The Manufaktuuri quarter is as close as it gets. Beautiful beaches are a stone’s throw away and you will even find sand dunes in two of them – Stroomi and Pikakari. There are several parks nearby, including the historic Kopli cemetery and Karjamaa dog park. Additionally, the Stroomi woods with trails for summertime walks and wintertime skiing are less than a kilometre away.
Stores, transport, schools and kindergartens
There is plenty of entertainment and many venues offering diverse pastimes both in the home quarter of Manufaktuuri and the neighbouring Põhjala. In general, Põhja-Tallinn is one of districts with the most options for cultural pastimes. Culinary art is especially cherished, with both high quality bakeries and sofa bars nearby. Although existing venues are close by, the quarter will also have its own hotspots.
